sunlight
drowing out sound
warm concrete under my thighs
and my little aquatic lioness under my hands
as the ancient cottonwood
still breaths
shimmers
and the softness of the breeze holds me up
i only hear leaves trembling
i just see pale yellow orbs
refractions of sun
